National Buy Local day is an attempt to counter the Corporate consumer holiday of black Friday, where billions of dollars are spent to line the pockets of the 1%. In the tradition of National Bank Transfer day and Buy nothing day, I encourage you to make the pledge to spend your money at local businesses, buying local products and local food.
